Biography:
Founded by Tshibangu Kadima in 1992, as an ambassador of Congolese culture in USA, this
winner of a Boston Music Award presents Soukous music and dances from Democratic Republic of Congo
sharing the rich diversity that the African cultures offer the world.
Programs includes workshops and performances. Kadima sings in Lingala, Swahili,
Tshiluba, Kikongo and French.

about SOUKOUS Music, about the relationship
between rhythms and
movements, emphasizing how to hear
the different parts of
the rhythms, the
body movements with which they are associated and the accurate
timing of
their integration. The
