incorporates the sweet vocal

harmonies and lilting dance rhythms of classic Congolese rumba --- an adaptation of Cuban

son --- as well as the cranking,

non-stop beat of modern Soukous.  Guitar theatrics, percussion breakdowns, and traditional dancing are all part of Rumbafrica's stage show.  You don't have to know anything about African music to love this band.  just watch the video on this page and you will agree with us.
